Is the area mostly zoned for single family homes? Did you check into local tax assessments? Did you weigh all the tax advantages and disadvantages? Are roads well maintained? Is the local economy stable?
Adverse Conditions
Is the area zoned for heavy commercial? Are there noises from highways, airports, or railroads? Is there heavy traffic in the area? Are future highways or developments planned? Is the area in a hazard zone (e.g., flood, earthquake, etc.)? Is your land historically significant? Are there wastewater plants or landfills in the area?
